Visa processing time


The issue of a visa is at the sole discretion of Embassy of India, Helsinki, which has outsourced the visa application process to IGCS. Therefore, the times listed below are only indicative and cannot be guaranteed.

For Finnish and Estonian passport holders:

  • Submitted at counter personally: 4 - 5 working days

  • Submitted through post: 2 - 3 weeks

For all other than Finish and Estonian citizens:

  • Submitted at counter personally: 7 - 8 working days

  • Submitted through post: 3 - 4 weeks

  • Submitted at Indian Visa Center, Estonia: normal 10 - 14 working days & express 6 days

NOTE: Incomplete applications received through post cannot be processed unless and until all the documentation is fulfilled. PLEASE NOTE! We cannot accept express applications through post. Please do not send any cash via post but transfer the whole amount to our bank account.
